One thing that most kitchens across the globe will have in common is a good old bottle of Vinegar sitting unassumingly at the back of a shelf. But few of us know that other than cooking, Vinegar has plenty of uses around the house!
Let’s look at a few cleaning hacks that this unsung hero can effortlessly help us with!
Looking to get your interiors done?
1. To Unclog A Drain
Clogged drain? Steer clear of store-bought drain cleaners which emit toxic fumes even long after they’ve been emptied into the drain. Use this simple recipe. Pour hot water in the sink followed by half a tablespoon of baking soda. Let it sit for some time. Finally pour a solution of vinegar and hot water into the drain and …no more clogged drain!

2. To Remove Carpet Stains
Spilled some gravy on the carpet? Just bring the white vinegar out. Remove any solid particles from the stained area and use a light-colored towel and soak up any excess fluid. Rub some 100% Vinegar onto the spot. Repeat until the stain becomes invisible and leave it to air-dry.
3. To Get Sticky Residue Off Clothes
Price tags and size stickers sometimes leave a sticky residue on clothes that is hard to get rid of. Just apply some heated vinegar onto the area and find it coming out with just some brushing!
