Using soap in a dish leaves a slimy mess after a while, and if trying to keep it clean by washing it often seems like a chore, the best thing is to switch to using a liquid soap dispenser. This doesn’t just make washing hands easier, it’s one less thing you need to worry about keeping clean and dry.

2. Store Wet Wipes In The Bathroom

Keeping wet wipes handy in the bathroom can help you clean splatters from toothpaste or soap and water marks, soon as they are made, and before they dry and become tougher to get rid of.

3. Wipe Your Mirrors After Every Use

Wiping mirrors with a wet wipe after every use can save you the chore of having to scrub and remove the stains when they’ve dried and become tougher. This will also prevent mould from forming between the cracks.

4. Let The Air In

It’s a good idea to open doors and windows in your bathroom to let the air circulate and help get rid of moisture. And if you have a fan in the bathroom, use it during your shower and 30 minutes after that to help dry all the moisture.

To unclog your shower head, all you need is a Ziploc bag half-filled with vinegar and a rubber band. Tie the Ziploc bag, with the vinegar inside it around your shower head (with the rubber band) making sure the whole shower head is dipped into the vinegar and leave it overnight.

Run water through it next day and you’ll find that the holes have all become unclogged.

If this seems like too much of a task, just use a sharp needle or a toothpick to prick the holes and remove the hard water sediments from it.

7. Dry Your Shower Curtains In The Sun

Wash your shower curtains once every month to remove any soap or shampoo residues left behind and hang them in the sun to dry. Airing them in the sun will help prevent black mildew spots from forming.

Also, even when you’re not in the shower, pull the shower curtain out of the tub to keep it dry.
