What Is A Toilet Cleaning Bomb?

A toilet cleaning bomb is a combination of a few cleaning agents molded into a tiny cake. When it is dropped into a toilet bowl, it fizzes and gives the toilet a fresh fragrance. But these aren’t meant to deep-clean your toilet – and just freshen it up between cleaning routines. So, yes, your toilet will still need to be scrubbed clean every now and then. But these fizzy toilet bombs can be great life-savers every time you have unexpected guests visiting, or want to get a feeling of a clean toilet whenever you use it!

- Half a cup of Baking soda

Mix the dry ingredients in a glass bowl and mix them well using a spoon or spatula.
Add Water And Make A Dough

Add a little bit of water to the mix and kneed the mixture into a tight dough. It might be a good idea to spray water using a spray bottle, so that you are able to adjust the amount of water easily. Add just enough water to give a dough-like consistency to the mixture. Too much water will make your bombs crumbly and weak.
Add A Few Drops Of Essential Oil

Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mix and blend it well. Be careful how much essential oil you add, as too much of it can make the bombs overpowering.
Put The Mixture Into A Mold

Put on rubber gloves (the mixture can be really sticky) and put the mixture into a silicone mold. You can use measuring spoons as molds, if you don’t have silicone molds. Remember not to over-fill the mold as the mixture will expand quite a bit. Let the mixture set and harden for a couple of days. And your toilet bombs are ready! Store them in an air-tight jar and just add one into the toilet bowl every time you want to give your toilet and bathroom a fresh fragrance!
